WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW WHO I AM IN CHRIST?

Who I Am In Christ

http://www.christianlifecoaching.co.uk/who-you-are-in-Christ.html

Why do I need to know who I am in Christ?

You need to know who you are in Christ so that you can live a successful Christian life.

The more you agree with God about your identity in Christ, the more your behaviour will reflect your God given identity.

Learn to see yourself as God sees you. Accept what God says about you and become the spiritual person you are. God’s opinion is the one that counts.

Understanding who you are in Christ will give you a strong foundation to build your life on. Knowing who you are in Jesus is the key to a successful Christian life.

Your identity doesn’t depend on something you do or have done. Your true identity is who you are in Christ.

When you are in Christ you are a new creation, the old has passed away. It’s time to stop living out of who people say you are and take hold of the truth of God’s word.

You need to know who you are in Christ so that you can know what to do, when to do it, where to go, and how to do it

Who I am in Christ

Because you are in Christ, every one of these statements is true of you.

  • I am loved 1John 3:3

  • I can always know the presence of God because He never leaves me Hebrews 13:5
  • God works in me to help me do the things He wants me to do Philippians 2:13
  • I can ask God for wisdom and He will give me what I need James 1:5

Simply choose to believe what God says about you.

“How can two walk together unless they agree?” Amos 3:3

Try reading the above list every day for a month, preferably out loud. The more you know who you are in Christ, the more your behaviour will reflect your true identity.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” Romans 12:2

To live an effective Christian life you need to know and believe who you are in Christ. Understanding your identity in Christ is crucial to your success.

The best way to renew your mind and experience transformation is by knowing, thinking and speaking who you are in Christ

Train yourself to say the same things that God says in His word. Become who you are in Christ. God wants to do more in your life than you imagine.

BECOMING THE PERSON GOD WANTS US TO BE

BECOMING THE PERSON GOD WANTS 2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all . . . are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit

When you begin to align your goals with God’s goals and your desires with God’s desires, you will rid your life of a lot of anger, anxiety and depression. The homemaker who wants a happy, harmonious family is expressing a godly desire, but she cannot guarantee that it will happen. So she’d better not base her identity and sense of worth on it or she will be a basket case of anger or resentment toward her sometimes less-than-harmonious family.

Instead she could decide, “I’m going to be the wife and mother God wants me to be.” That’s a great goal! Is it impossible or uncertain? No, because it’s also God’s goal for her and nothing is impossible with God. Who can block her goal? She’s the only one who can. As long as she cooperates with God’s goal for her, her success is assured.
“But what if my husband has a mid-life crisis or my kids rebel?” she may object. Problems like that aren’t blocking her goal of being the wife and mother God wants her to be, but they will put her goal to a serious test. If her husband ever needs a godly wife, and if her children ever need a godly mother, it’s in times of trouble. Family difficulties are merely new opportunities for her to fulfill her goal of being the woman God wants her to be.
The pastor whose worth is based on his goal to win his community for Christ, have the best youth ministry in town, or increase giving to missions by 50 percent is headed for a fall. These are worthwhile desires, but they are poor goals by which to determine his worth because they can be blocked by people or circumstances. Rather he could say, “I’m going to be the pastor God wants me to be.” That’s a great goal because nothing can block him from achieving it.

God’s basic goal for your life is character development: becoming the person God wants you to be. Because it’s a godly goal, no one can block it except you.

Prayer: Lord, I want to be the person You called me to be today. Thank You that by Your grace I can be that person.

This devotional really struck a chord with me this morning. How often we base our goals on people , things, our jobs, our kids, our loves, our relationship with others,our abilities and how often they do not measure up to our expectations and our goals for them and our selves. I don’t know about you but I am so guilty of this,no wonder I feel defeated, and make so many excuses for never measuring up. As a Homemaker it is very easy basing my identity and self-worth on what I do for my family and my husband and when I feel like they don’t help me feel like who I want to be or when I don’t seem to measure up to their or other people’s standards of excellence, what a blow to one’s ego. Being hit hard with Arthritis and being disabled I can no longer meet my own standards as to what  or how much I should do as a Homemaker, tending the home and all that ,that requires is no longer within my abilities , what use to be a simple task, it takes a whole lot more work,time and pain to get the things done that use to be easy to do. Now it is hard as hell to do and takes every bit of my energy to do just the simple tasks I use to do, to even measure up to my ideal of perfection. That has been taken from me, by arthritis and pain, and along with that my so called ‘identity’ is no longer within reach. It is hard to remember the truth of the matter, we will never measure up to anyone’s standards and especially to God’s standard, and that is why we can thank God and our Lord Jesus Christ because only Jesus measures up to God’s standard and it is only through and by and for Him that we are able to as well. Who I am in Christ is a done deal. There is not even a ‘becoming’ in the equation, I was made perfect already in Him , it happened when I became aware of the Grace of God in Christ and for that I am truly blessed and thankful. Now if I can only remember that.

THE TEST OF SELF INTEREST

THE TEST OF SELF-INTEREST
by Oswald Chambers

“If thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.” Genesis 13:9

As soon as you begin to live the life of faith in God, fascinating and luxurious prospects will open up before you, and these things are yours by right; but if you are living the life of faith you will exercise your right to waive your rights, and let God choose for you. God sometimes allows you to get into a place of testing where your own welfare would be the right and proper thing to consider if you were not living a life of faith; but if you are, you will joyfully waive your right and leave God to choose for you. This is the discipline by means of which the natural is transformed into the spiritual by obedience to the voice of God.Whenever right is made the guidance in the life, it will blunt the spiritual insight. The great enemy of the life of faith in God is not sin, but the good which is not good enough. The good is always the enemy of the best. It would seem the wisest thing in the world for Abraham to choose, it was his right, and the people around would consider him a fool for not choosing. Many of us do not go on spiritually because we prefer to choose what is right instead of relying on God to choose for us. We have to learn to walk according to the standard which has its eye on God. “Walk before Me.”

==========================================================

The goal in many of our lives is for the ‘self’ , to try to change our circumstances and make it what we want to happen in our lives, but to live the life of Faith in God is to let go and let God be Lord ,Master and King in our lives, to have the faith to know that what ever happens in our lives that it is God who either brought it about  or allowed it to happen for His purpose in us. The goal of the Christian life is to walk in faith and believing that Gods Spirit knows what we need in our lives . Many of us are not quite here, we don’t realize that it is God who is shaping our lives, and it is the ‘tests’ that we go through that help us realize our weaknesses and total dependence on God ,that is the outcome of the ordeals we go through in life. This is what it means to walk in the Spirit or to be Spirit led, it is the trusting of our lives to His care that will produce the transformation that God desires in us.
God is the Master Artist , crafter, gardener and He is the one who decides how we are to be molded and formed as a vessel for his use. It is worldly ,fleshly and self thinking to always try to change our circumstances, but it is an act of faith to rely on God to do what we need to have done to form us into vessels fit for the King.The reason why I do not believe in ‘spells’ or positive affirmations to try to change my situation or circumstances in my life, is because I believe that the ‘role’ of a Christian believer in Yahshua/Jesus is to believe that whatever comes our way is for a purpose that only God may know, and it is a walk of faith on our part to believe that God knows what situations or circumstance we need to go through in order to grow in HIM. That does not mean that if we are sick, in pain, or dis-eased not to get medical help. We must do what we need to do but we must trust that it is God that is allowing these things to happen. The serenity prayer is a good place to understand this process
.

PathThe Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

TRUE SPIRITUALITY

rocky river bed by P.A.T.C.

Spiritual disciplines are “windows” to let Divine light into our spiritual “house”.

For some, “spirituality” is the doing of some form of spiritual practice  or ritual such as  prayer and meditation, worship, study, yoga, lighting of a candle, making sacred space within a circle or even what we would call our ministry,or any other type of ritual we perform on a daily basis that we deem ‘spiritual’. But I can tell you  that  we are setting ourselves up for disappointment and disillusionment. if that is how we perceive Spirituality to be ,as if  it is  some form of ‘practice’ we must do . Then I  can see that it will cause a problem within us and really cause a  separation from what true Spirituality  is.  So what happens when we don’t practice, like meditate and read the  bible every morning , or what ever we believe is a ‘practice’ or spiritual ‘ritual’? We then may tend to  believe , that somehow we are  not being very spiritual. But if we are ‘doing’ some form of spiritual ‘practice’ or ‘ritual’ then we believe that we are now somehow , being spiritual !  For others, “spirituality” may mean  certain kinds of inner experiences, that produces feelings such as calm, spaciousness,  a high level of alertness, loving, stress relief, which may give us  a sense of connection with everything and everyone. As accurately as these words might describe some of our experiences that we may have had, these experiences are only the result of said spiritual devotions, but is far from what true Spirituality is. When calmness or a sense of being connected becomes our definition of spirituality, we then run the risk of making these experiences our primary goals. We begin seeking these experiences rather than seeking our primary goal which  should be an intimate relationship with our Creator. When we don’t feel these things, we assume that we are not  very “spiritual” or that maybe God is absent. I know that this has been a problem for me I have confused the practice or the rituals with real Spirituality and if I did not experience anything that I have been told I was  suppose to experience, then I felt like I was a failure and that I must not be a real Spiritual person , or that God must not love me. I had gotten it all wrong. I have misinterpreted true Spirituality all this time, and because I had the wrong definition to what true Spirituality is , I have lived my life in depression and felt like a  spiritual failure , I have felt left out and rejected of God ,over  all these past years.

 Practices, or “spiritual disciplines,” are the things that we do  to intentionally  strengthen and energize our relationship with God,  with others, with the world, and with ourselves. Spiritual practices are the things we do that, together with God’s love, grace and mercy,   will allow the production of the fruit of the Spirit. But! Spiritual disciplines and practices are only “windows” to let Divine light into our spiritual “house”. But what if we changed our perception of spiritual disciplines and practices as being what Spirituality is all about ,and view Spirituality as the reality and experience of  living in the present moment , of being aware that God is truly in ALL aspects of our lives ,  in whatever we do in our lives, that God is in our very mundane chores ,and in our working for a living, or playing and resting and leisure time, all of it should be done with  the mindset that it is all  in God, because in all actuality God is truly All in All, and  it is ‘that’  mindset which  will make  all of our lives sacred and holy, it is that ,the all encompassing aspects of our life that we should call Spirituality.

So what is Spirituality? What should be the true nature and meaning of Spirituality? I believe that in it’s truest and simplest term ,Spirituality is a RELATIONSHIP. The true meaning of Spirituality is that it is our  relationship to  and with  a very living Creator ,who is not out there somewhere but a very present reality ,who is within us  if we in the Christian faith ,have received the Spirit of Chirst through confession of faith in Him. Spirituality is also our relationships to and with  other people ,to the world around us, and to ourselves. Spirituality is the on going process of staying actively and intentionally engaged in all of our relationships and it is very dependant upon on how willing we are to evolve as the relationship affects us. Spirituality is our ongoing, evolving relationship with a truly living God. This is why it is so important that we  not confuse the  spiritual results or disciplines with  what spirituality really is. I know that over the years I had been very confused by this  and I have been wrong in my thinking  by confusing  experiences, or feelings,  or the fulfillment of religious activity, practices and rituals into something more than they really are  which like I said before that they are ONLY  windows to let the Divine Light into our lives, which is necessary and good, but it is in itself  not what SPIRITUALITY is.

As a Christian, Jesus  Christ must be central to our relationship with God. Jesus says  that we must daily  follow him, do as He did and Say what he  would say and love as He loves.  He does not demand moral perfection from us or that our doctrines be correct. He wants all of us  to be in relationship with him.  My relationship with Jesus will be different from yours and everyone else, and that should be expected because each of us are different.  What matters most  as Christians, is that we must be in relationship with Jesus Christ and that this relationship will constantly evolve as we go along, which is what it is meant to do. If we stay in close relationship with Jesus Christ ,we will be changed and transformed with time and this is not a quick process but a progressive one.

 We  must take our faith seriously, enough so that,  we will  apply  that relationship  directly to all of our earthly relationships, it is then that our God takes on human flesh. I personally believe that all of Creation is God’s body, and our spirituality is also our intentional relationship with this  beautiful and awesome living body we call Earth and with everything that lives  on her which is magnificently all interconnected to each other. How we treat and relate to Earth and all upon her is a direct link and result of our relationship with  our Creator as well.

So our spirituality is based entirely on how we live out this relationship  with God our Source and Creator,  with others, the earth and to ourselves.  Our windows to heaven which are our practices, or “spiritual disciplines,” are the things that we do  with intention , that  will strengthen and awaken and bring intimacy to our relationship with God, others, the world, and our self. So Spiritual practices are the tangible things  that we can do , together with God’s grace, that will then allow Christ to  produce the fruit of  the Spirit of God within us which is stated in Galatians 5:22, 23 “JOY, PEACE(SHALOM) , PATIENCE , KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS ,SELF CONTROL, against such there IS NO LAW.”

So perhaps spirituality ,is simply  living in awareness, our everyday lives , in the present moment in a holistic, and faithful way in loving relationship with our Creator and the world around us. So what about the windows into heaven, those devotions and practices and rituals we do? Do only those that bring intimacy between you and your God. Don’t do something because a group or church says this is what you must do. Try different things and what ever draws you into knowing God is the one you want to spend your time doing.

blessings.

THE TRINITY

The Christian concept of the Trinity once seemed strange, perhaps even contrived, to me.  How could something be three things that are one and one thing that is three?  But the Trinity made sense to me once I came to believe in God, to recognize Him in Jesus Christ and to know the part of Him within me.  My understanding of the Trinity, and belief in its truth, grew as I came to see that the universe itself reflects the three-in-one nature of the God who created it.

Water as solid, liquid and vaporMatter

Matter has three states, solid, liquid and gaseous. Each element is a single element, but it takes on different forms or manifestations under different conditions.

Three primary colors give white lightLight

Any color of light can be formed from the three primary colors. Light that appears as white, the purest of all, does not exist by itself but is the equal combination of red, green and blue light, and is a manifestation of three colors in one.

Three dimensions in spaceSpace

The space of our universe has three dimensions. You cannot define a point in space without using three dimensions, and yet that point is one.

Time in past, present and futureTime

Time in our universe has three dimensions that are found in past, present and future, yet it is a single continuum and only exists in the present.

Three primary forces of natureForces

There are three physical forces known to control all interactions in matter: gravitational, electromagnetic and nuclear. The Unified Field Theory seeks to identify one set of laws that describes all these forces as different manifestations of one force.

Atoms

The atom defines the most basic unit of every chemical element in the universe.  The word atom comes from the Greek word for “indivisible,” yet while it represents the purest essence of one element, the atom has three facets, with the positively charged proton and neutral neutron at its core, and the negatively charged electron outside the core that balances its electric charge and interacts with other elements.

Trisecting a line as the basis for design in creationLife

The physical design of the human body, and that of many other life forms, is based on a relationship known as the Divine Proportion, or Golden Section.  This proportion is based on trisecting a line such that the ratio of the small piece to the large piece is the same as the ratio of the large piece to the entire line.  It is also found by solving an equation with three terms, x3 – x2 – x1 = 0.

Nature of man

The nature of man is expressed as mind, body and spirit, analogous to, and in the image of, the triune nature of God.  It’s interesting to note that Genesis relates man being made by “us” in “our” image when referring to God, indicating the plurality in His nature.

Life on Earth

Life on Earth inhabits three domains, the sea, the land and the air.

Holy Trinity

Following the three-in-one nature that is found throughout creation, we find the three-in-one nature of the One God manifested in the Holy Trinity, with each Being revealing a different aspect of our God and Creator to us:

  • The Father, the part of God that is transcendent, infinite and beyond our understanding,
  • The Son, Jesus Christ, the part of God that is immanent and appeared to us in the way that we could best know Him, in human form.  He was both “Son of God,” an expression of God as contained in human form, and at the same time “Son of Man,” the ultimate expression of who we can be in our most divine form.
  • The Holy Spirit, the part of God that lives in the heart and soul of each of us, acting as our Counselor for those who believe and listen to His voice within us.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Genesis 1:26

Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isaiah 6:3

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
1 Corinthians 6:19

The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Words of Jesus Christ in John 14:26

“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.”
Colossians 2:9-10

I HAVE SEEN A GREAT LIGHT

While laying awake in bed last night listening to my hubby snore, he has been sick a few days and so we have been home for a few days, I was tortured in my thoughts as I lay there. Being in Chronic pain and my ability to be mobile becoming less and less a fact of life, I laid in bed with worry and fret over what lays ahead in the future for me, it wasn’t comforting to say the least. I feared how I was going to make it, what if my hubby died before me? what was I to do then, how was I going to be able to live in my home when I am not able to do the things as I use to, in fact my hubby has been taking up the slack,because I am almost unable to do alot of what I use to do, so what then? I laid there thinking I had no hope for a good outcome. I even thought of taking my life if that fear came to pass. Then I thought about God and how within Christianity, only a few will make it into God’s paradise the rest would either live on in eternal torment or God will cast them in to the fire after Judgement never to be remembered again. I thought about how it would be at that time with this theology. God raises from the dead all the mass of humanity who were either non believers or never have heard of Christ, so God will wake them up only to judge them and then either kill them or torture them. How in God’s name can anyone justify that ? I am thinking to self, why even wake them up if God is only to kill them again? How stupid and cruel is that ? Listen for a moment, why bother to even wake the unbelievers up in the first place, if they all don’t make it then let them be dead and gone and over with it, what is the cruel purpose to raise the condemned in the first place if there is no hope for them in doing so? Is this a cruel joke being played out, if so I don’t want this cruel beast of a god. If they are condemned and with no hope then for God’s sakes leave them be!!!But they are raised and for what other purpose? But yet the Christians who believe in annihilation believe that is exactly what God will do. Or God awakens them only to judge them guilty and then throw them into the fire and the Second Death only so they will be consciously alive and be tortured through out all time for what they did or did not do in their extremely short life time compared with the final verdict of torture for all time. Can any one see the mercy, justice and love of God in that picture? Not me.

Some different thoughts came to my mind as I was fretting over this theology of eternal death or eternal torture ,that the many in Christianity believe and teach. Who was right? who are wrong? Can I ever know?What is the truth here?
Consider this story/parable: You have a wealthy man that has all the money and power in the world and then you have all the rest of us who do not . All of us in time ,owe this man many thousands of dollars , we are indebted to this wealthy man to the extreme. Then one day this wealthy man’s son comes along and pays off all of our debts. No one now owes this man’s wealthy father anything whatsoever. But only a few find out that this was done, they find out they no longer are indebted to the wealthy man and are now able to live life without fear of slavery or prison or death because they can not pay or can ever get out of this indebtedness to the Wealthy man. So now after being told the good news that their debt has been paid in full by the Wealthy man’s son, they are now able to live the rest of their lives full of gratitude , thanksgiving and love towards this wealthy man’s son for all he did for them, he literally saved their lives. Now the rest of the people which are many never hear the good news of their debt being paid in full, their lives continue as it has been, full of fear, and worry, and hatred towards the wealthy man’s power over them and their indebtedness to him. They live their lives and die without ever hearing the good news that their indebtedness has been paid in full. My question to you is this, even though they have no clue that their debt is paid in full, do they still owe the wealthy man ?Are they still in debt to this Wealthy man even though the Wealthy man’s son paid it off? So in like thought, Christ paid the debt and died for our sins and the death that it produced in us , for ALL of humankind from Adam to whomever at the very last day He died for All, God is no longer attributing sin to us, we do not owe the sin debt any longer, that debt has been paid in full, the good news is that the Son has cleared us from all sin and the eternal death it produced!
The truth is this that “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”(2 Corinthians 5:18-19) We Christians have been given the ministry of reconciliation. The whole world is God’s. And it is entrusted to us to tell others this Good News so that they can in this life live it with out fear or shame or guilt! So that they can be truly thankful and full of gratitude and joy towards God.

The modern Christian concept of hell is not only unbiblical, but the fact of the matter is that it is straight from the devil himself and blasphemes the marvelous sacrifice Christ made on the cross of cavalry. The bible defines hell as separation from God. If you don’t know God, or have a personal walk with Him, my brother and sister, you are in hell, and can ir not get any darker in darkness than that. You walk in darkness no matter how you may look by the world’s standards. This is truth,if you don’t have a personal relationship/communion with your creator, you are in hell, and are the walking dead. The bible describes the situation of people that don’t know God this way.

” … ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:”(Eph 2:12) You have no hope and are without God in the world. That’s hell, and your end is death.
But that is not the end of the story!

So as I laid there in bed last night God revealed to me in my spirit that He is in charge, and has been from the beginning, I need not fear, and that I have been given the GOOD NEWS in that God is NO LONGER IMPUTING SIN TO ME it has be taken care of by the work of Jesus Christ in his life and death and resurrection, it is a DONE DEAL, and I have been given this news so that I no longer must fear life here in hell,the darkness within me has been overcome by His true LIGHT !!!!!
“The truth hurts.”, the truth kills. It kills the lies, it kills death. Understanding and truth will be used by God to destroy utterly darkness and lies. Love will be used to destroy hatred.

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”(1 John 1:5) If you are darkness, and have lies, deception, murder, greed, jealousy, envy and hatred in you, you will be consumed by the light of God and have all truth revealed to you. The way to preserve your soul is to ask God to show you His truth in this life, because only then do you get rid of the garbage in you and get it replaced with truth. Then, with the truth, you have eternal life because only pure truth can stand before God and not be destroyed. Only when you have truth do you begin to be alive. People with no knowledge of God don’t have eternal life because life itself begins with the knowledge of God. If you don’t have God, you don’t have any life at all according to the bible. When the man asked Jesus if he could first go back and bury his father before following Him, Jesus replied,
” Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. “(Matt 8:22), meaning that those who are Spiritually dead are the same to God as those physically dead. The definition of eternal life is preserving your soul from this existence into the existence to come. If you have no life in this existence, you have no life to carry over into the next. The soul full of darkness will be destroyed, or the soul that sins shall surely die, by being filled with God’s light.

The bible declares in Isaiah 45:22 – 24

” Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Surely, shall [one] say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: [even] to him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.” The end of all the earth is to see Jesus and bow their knees and confess that He is Lord, to the Glory of God. There will not be a forced show of worship here by some big angel pushing them down to their knees . They will bow and worship God because they will have the truth revealed to them.
Listen the only reason Christians are in the earth today is to show the world what their future is. We are the first-fruits. Not just the early church but all of us as Christians are just one church, always has been and always will be. The church of Jesus Christ. We Christians today are just as much part of the church as the apostles were at the beginning of all this. The church is the first fruits along with Jesus for the church is His body. First is never used unless there is a second. We are in the earth to be an example. James 1:18 says,
” Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.”

All the earth belongs to God and everything in it. The Good News we are to bring to this world is that God has sent His Son to be the sacrifice for the world. God has reconciled the world to Himself and your end is determined. You will go stand before God. Wait, you say. What about the verses which say those that have done evil will be cast into the lake of fire? Well I will leave that for next time. I just want to make it clear that most of us are all ready in Hell, here on the 3rd rock from the sun, many of us are tortured by our thoughts and our fears and our worries, already. The fear of a future Hell is nothing compared to the Hell most of us face or see each day, most of us with out Christ are already dead,dead, dead, and there is no life in us. Don’t threaten me with a future hell, I have experienced that already, but praise God I have seen a great light in Jesus Christ and now I am saved from this life of death in this hell here in this life. I was dead and now I am alive for it was not Christ alone who died on that Cross, but I and every person did too, but the joy is that I know I was buried with him already and I am raised with him already and the life I now live I live by the power of His life in me , amen and halleluyah!

shalom in Christ.
